On the road to electrification

Our milestones

2018

Founding of JOLT

JOLT is founded in 2018 by ten industry experts under the leadership of Maurice Neligan.

2020

First test run with a prototype

In 2020, JOLT completes the successful test run with the prototype.

2022

First charging station in Hamburg

In cooperation with EG Group, ESSO and ADS-TEC Energy, JOLT launches its first ultra-fast charging service in Hamburg.

2023

Completion of financing round

JOLT Energy receives a 150 million Euro investment from InfraRed to build an urban ultra-fast charging network.

2023/24

Market expansion

The market ramp-up in the German market begins, and the brand entry into the Netherlands is the first step towards internationalisation. Other markets are to follow.
