Jolt Energy GmbH is a Boston, Dublin and Munich-based company founded in 2018 by a team of automotive and power engineering managers with the goal of breaking the traditional conventions of urban charging. At JOLT, we believe that e-mobility will only be successful if sufficient fast charging options are available. Our company is building a network of ultra-fast charging stations for electric vehicles in European and North American cities.
We are seeking a highly motivated Working Student to join the Technology/Data Analytics Team in Munich. As a Working Student in the Data Analytics team, you will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our outage and uptime calculations. You will work closely with various stakeholders to align data from multiple sources, improve existing automation systems, and ensure the seamless operation of our services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Outage and Uptime Calculations: Ensure the correctness and reliability of outage and uptime calculations by analysing data sets and verifying results.
- Automation Improvement: Assist in extending and improving the current automation systems used for outage and uptime calculations.
- Data Alignment: Align automatically-generated outage data with service reports, charging reports, and other relevant data sources.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Interface with the service team to confirm that no outages are overlooked and that all incidents are properly documented and reported.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct regular reviews and validations of data to ensure consistency, accuracy, and completeness.
- Documentation: Maintain clear and detailed documentation of processes, findings, and improvements made to the automation system.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program in Bavaria in the fields of Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Natural Sciences, or any other discipline with a strong focus on data analysis.
- Technical Skills: Basic understanding of data analytics tools and programming languages (e.g., Python/Pandas, SQL, Power BI/DAX, Power Query). Familiarity with cloud computing systems (AWS/Azure/GCS) is a plus.
- Analytical Mindset: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
- Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive Attitude: Self-motivated and able to work independently, managing time effectively to handle multiple tasks.
